Now called Empower Personal Dashboard

A Personal Capital alternative
without the advisor pitch

Personal Capital's free dashboard is now Empower Personal Dashboard — and it still exists mainly to surface leads for its paid wealth management service. TrakWorth is a self-serve net worth tracker with the same core dashboard idea, no advisor calls involved.

Free during beta · No advisory pitch · No assets-under-management minimum

Personal Capital is now Empower

Personal Capital rebranded to Empower Personal Dashboard after being acquired by Empower. The free net worth and budgeting dashboard is still available, but the underlying business model hasn't changed: the free tool exists largely to identify users with enough investable assets to be routed to a paid financial advisor.

TrakWorth takes a simpler approach. There's no assets-under-management threshold, no advisor outreach, and no upsell built into the free tier. It's a net worth dashboard, an income and expense ledger, and household tracking — nothing more layered underneath it.
